Most criticisms you have for Move apply for Kinect.
Until there is a healthy base of users for both controls, we won't see too much innovation. Until then both have EyeToy/Wii games, although Move also can also be used in place the standard controller for core games. While it does seem "gimmicky", it underlies a strength that Move holds over Kinect's - more experiences are possible on the Move than Kinect.
In fact the fact we have core gam...
Most media - books, music, movies - are distributed digitally to the mass market. Actually, we console gamers are pretty much last to the party, just because of the multigig size of the games alone.
Awesome idea for Move.
Thx for the link butthead...
It looks like it would be free for PS+ members. And I'm sure the $59.99 and $49.99 is the price you pay for the software...first month being free otherwise. You have to be able to read into the statements,
At the very least, they should have the first three months free. They probably know that the fee would turn off a lot of gamers who are not accustom to playing MMO's...like myself.
Waiving the fee for PSN+ members will ensure more sales, enough to offset the money lost in the initial three months. Remember PC gamers will still have to pay.
FREE is GOOD enough for me. I have absolutely no problems with Netflix streaming by the way. Even on my buddy's 360, I see little difference except for the interface. I do like the 360's interface, though.
Still having the disc is less of a deal than having two discs for Final Fantasy. You'd put in a disc for Blu-Ray. Stuff we nitpick about as fanboys is silly.
Whatever.
PS3 isn't second yet anyway, but I'm sure they will be since they'll keep doing what they've always have done...what you erroneously believe they don't...
INNOVATE...worry about Microsoft catching up to Sony, not the other way around. If their first party studios only can manage lackluster titles AFTER THEIR OWN LONG DEVELOPMENT TIMES and they have to rely on third parties, paid enormous sums, to produce the best games on it sys...
That's true. I sat my avatar down on a bench, and went to the bathroom. I came back and some girl was sitting on the ground in front of me so it looked like she was giving me a bj...obviously some dude with homo fantasies.
I thought it was funny, but people are pretty disturbed/desparate on HOME at times.
R.U.S.E. will have Move support, not Kinect support. Same with Tiger Woods at least at start.
Here's a snippet, even though it won't shut you up Omega.
"As of right now, Girard doesn't expect to add Kinect to the list of supported devices, citing the hardware's inability to fully recognize player actions unless they are standing up as a deterrent.
Microsoft has denied Kinect is unplayable while sitting down since the ne...
Now DC fanboys? LOL. Marvel > DC everyday in everything except Batman. LOL.
No, I'm looking forward to this game...subscription fees or not. That is the best trailer I've seen since Killzone 2.
He's a cheerleader. You really have to be sweet on your console to use a picture of your 360 avatar as your avatar. I wonder if he ever plays its.
He fails to mention Move or GT5 going head to head with Kinect and Reach. Kinect is probably more accessible to some casuals, but GT5 will likely outsell Reach. Sort of cancels out to me...!
I think Move and Kinect each will cancel each other out as far as sales. Kinect probably has the biggest draw, but Move has a two month headstart.
By the time Halo is released, the price drop/clear out will be long forgotten, but the redesign will be in full effect.
As a person who plays both consoles, even if I don't own both, XBox owners really deserve internal Wifi and a better designed console. I think this will help move sales, because current owne...
There were a whole series of those a year or two back. Really cute.
Cool. It's like eHarmony for shooters and the gamers that love them.
"You know I was frustrated with other games, until I met Katamari Damacy. Now me and Kat...I call her Kat...we're inseparable. She's on my PS3, my PSP. I've found the one." LOL.
These need to be done for more genres. What attributes make for a good Adventure game?
Actually, I've always wanted to break my Suxasses (Sixaxis) into two halves so I can veg with my hands beside me on the couch when playing.
Wii's the better value for the money with a larger library of games. Didn't you read the article Omega?
As an existing owner of a PSEye, I can have two Moves and a sub-controller for $120...still cheaper than Kinect.
Cool. You should have a choice, but you might miss out on something interesting as new content comes to HOME. I'm not a regular visitor, but E3 exhibit, Xi, and what little time I spend on Sodium have been real cool. Some of the game spaces have been happening.
Still as a hub for launching games it is laughable, but it is a perfect way to provide information and content. Sony's only problem is that they don't leverage its media collection as much they could. ...
Personally, I'm waiting for Move.
and they said Kinect couldn't do hardcore...! LOL.
And I already thought Kinect had a XXX future outside the X-Box. Hope it happens. Microsoft meets marital aids.
After playing the demo, I knew this was coming. Holding off on buying the game just because I am afraid they'll sell a new Move version of the game with the updated controls.
